Birth Certificate Download & Print (Bangladesh)

After you verify your birth certificate on the official portal, you can save or print the result as a PDF. This guide covers exactly how to do that on a computer and on a phone, and explains the difference between a verification copy and an official certified copy.

Verification copy vs. certified copy

There are two different things people mean by "download":

• Verification copy: the page you see after searching on everify.bdris.gov.bd. You can print or save it as a PDF. It proves the record exists and is digital, but it is not a sealed, signed certificate.
• Official certified copy: the sealed, signed certificate issued by your Union Parishad, Municipality, or City Corporation. To get one you must apply through bdris.gov.bd or your local office; a small fee applies.

Download / print on a computer

1. Verify your record on everify.bdris.gov.bd so the details appear on screen.
2. Press Ctrl + P (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ + P (Mac).
3. In the print dialog, set the destination to "Save as PDF".
4. Click Save and choose where to store the file.

Download / print on a mobile phone

1. Open the verified result page in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot (⋮) menu at the top right.
3. Tap Share → Print (or just Print).
4. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer and tap the save icon.

Common download problems

• Blank or cut-off PDF: set margins to "Default" and scale to 100% in the print dialog before saving.
• Text not readable: take a full-page screenshot as a backup, or save at a larger paper size (A4).
• Nothing to download: you must first verify successfully. If you see "No Record Found", the record may not be digitized yet.
